And the fan is almost silent. Alright, first things first. As a side note, the ultrabase has two speakers on the front which replace the speaker on mousse actual tablet when it is plugged in.

After the long wait for my X61 Tablet PCit finally shipped and arrived four days later. The eraser is quite easy to use, and somewhat springy. Heat output from the laptop is more than you would expect from such a small machine.
Playing music outside of the dock sounds like headphones with the volume cranked, then when docked it sounded like a boom box. The dock has a lock and the Ultra Bay.

In direct sunlight, be prepared to get very close to your screen and squint. The X61s is an ultraportable notebook. When I get my next notebook, I might go with something smaller like this X Despite being born to travel, the X61s is lneovo to spend some time at home or the office.
It is kenovo Atheros card. Boot times were a little slow due to Vista booting slower than XP and all the ThinkVantage tools turning on with the machine.

This X61s did not have the Turbo Memory, though it is available on other models. The Hitachi 7k on the X61s view large image. Testing it was the curse.
The right side of the X61s. The fan does its job well. I was able to use the free WiFi connection from the local Library which was on the other side of the park and across the street. I have the advanced mini dock for my R With Vista the system likes to occasionally go wild in the background almost pegging the processor, eating up precious power from the battery at times.
However, when I walk around with the ultrabase attached, it feels much heavier and slightly awkward.

I felt comfortable holding it with one hand by the palm rest area, it feels that sturdy. There were leenovo gaps or misaligned parts. When compared to other Lenovo laptops, the X61 recharges its battery extremely fast.
I understand it is small notebook, but something above XGA would be nice. When it gets going, it pushes the air at a brisk pace, which also makes it a bit noisy.

Despite running at half the power of other Core 2 Duo CPUs, performance at least on the benchmarks, the Lenoco competed quite well as compared to other laptops with the Core 2 Duo. It does get a bit warmer than usual, but nothing to cause concern. Though the text is somewhat small, it is very clear. The left side of the X61s while in docking station view large image.
